This park has the potential to be stunning... POTENTIAL.... Sadly someone with a vision to see it's potential needs to turn up...ASAP.. Some of the sites are magic some are just plain horrible... sadly we had the latter. We asked for a slab or mat site.. N/a so we had an uneven steep dirt site only to witness the availability of mat sites during our stay. The amenities were clean .. a bit of a hike from our site... Anyway I hope Mr Million dollar man turns up and turns this spot into an oasis soon.
Port Lincoln Tourist Park is always an excellent, relaxing place to stay, with a 'safe' swimming beach between the breakwater & jetty, & overlooking Boston Bay from most sites. Excellent amenity blocks with laundries open 24/7 & friendly, helpful staff.
Very good park. Sites closest to the water are all drive though on gravel with grass surrounding. Amenities clean, good laundry. Has a boat ramp and a jetty. Enjoyed our stay.
Lovely ocean views and good beach access.....thats where the positives end. Very small outdated amenities in urgent need of an upgrade. Terrible communication by staff, who desert the park after 5pm. No assistance with checking-in which is left to the poor maintenance man. Very limited facilities for kids (a tiny toddler playground and thats it). Pity as the setting is beautiful but the park really needs some TLC and good management.
Lovely park right on the water. Good clean amenities and a private jetty where we caught a few squid and had yummy calamari for dinner. The only issue for me was that none of the amenities blocks were very close to the unpowered camping area and it was quite a walk especially in the middle of the night. Other than that, a top place to stay.
